Kiran exhibited at RSNA in Chicago for the 21st year without missing any year. This premier event attracts visitors from all over the world. Kiran displayed is complete range of Radiation Protection Products as well as Image Enhancement accessories. We had an enthusiastic response and had record number of enquiries.

Kiran acquires Okamoto, Japan

Kiran has acquired the iconic brand and business of Okamoto Manufacturing Co. Ltd, Japan. Okamoto has a legacy of over 60 years and were the inventor of the Push Type X-ray Cassettes PL-B and PL-BW with a unique patented corner connector.
Okamoto manufacturing consisted of superbly engineered equipments, tooling and facilities. Their product range consists of X-ray Cassettes , Intensifying Screens, X-ray Grids, Automatic Film Processors and ID Cameras.
Cassette, Screen and Grids operations have been integrated into Kiran manufacturing by relocation of the entire infrastructure to Kiran Medical Systems who will continue to provide the unique Okamoto engineered products using Japanese inputs to select market segments worldwide.
Automatic Film Processors and ID Camera manufacturing is relocated in Japan itself and will be handled by Kiran's partners in Japan, M/s Hideco Corporation.
