Intensifying Screens and Gradient Screens (Gradual Screens)
RARE EARTH - GREEN
Rare earth green screens use terbium activated gadolinium oxysulfide phosphor for increased efficiency. They are designed for outstanding contrast and detail perception and enable reduction in X-ray dosage, with low tube voltage.
| Green 100 |
Speed Class 100 |
Outstanding details. |
| Green 200 |
Speed Class 200 |
Excellent resolution with medium speed. |
| Green 400 |
Speed Class 400 |
Standard rare earth green screen with high intensification and excellent detail perceptibility. |
| Green 800 |
Speed Class 800 |
Maximum speed for lowest dosage. |
RARE EARTH - BLUE
Rare earth blue screens use state-of-the-art rare earth phosphor, which filter unwarranted scattered radiation, thus enabling extra sharpness, minimum dosage, and reduction in quantum noise. Phenomenal improvement in X-ray tube life.
| Blue 200 |
Speed Class 200 |
Incorporates excellent definition with high speed. |
| Blue 400 |
Speed Class 400 |
Standard rare earth blue screen for high intensification with excellent detail perceptibility |
| Blue 800 |
Speed Class 800 |
Maximum intensification with lowest dosage. Use with half speed X-ray film will reduce system speed to 400. |
CALCIUM TUNGSTATE
Calcium tungstate screens use high quality phosphor possessing exceptional luminescence with an optimum combination of speed and resolution along with minimum mottle.
| Medium |
Speed Class 100 |
General purpose screen with excellent sharpness and par speed. |
| Hi Speed |
Speed Class 150 |
Combines high resolution with very high speed. |
| Hi Plus |
Speed Class 200 |
Ideal for wide range of applications. High resolution with ultra high speed. |
Gradient Screens (Gradual Screens)
Gradient screens are used for those parts of the human body, where a large object range arises and the latitude to single film is sometimes inadequate.
The speed of these screens gradually changes. Hence, high contrast film can be used.
These screens are available in full leg, full spine, lumbar spine lateral and thoracical spine lateral applications. For each of these applications, an optimized profile is available, which takes into account, variations in human anatomy as well as positioning within an application.
Also available: Dental screens
