At Kiran, grids are manufactured using the highest purity lead optimized for thickness and rolled with cutting edge technology in Europe. The aluminum interspacing materials go through the grind in the world's leading aluminum mills before they are chosen for Kiran grids.

The grid design incorporates an optimum balance between maximising the lead to improve contrast and controlling the absorption of information bearing primary X-rays. This is achieved with the help of extremely fine thickness and quality of aluminum alloy.

The grids are perfectly interspaced to eliminate mottle and then milled with precision diamond tools. Our state-of-the-art plant ensures defect free products. Use of stringent test protocol for incoming raw materials, statistical process control during manufacture and a rigorous final product testing regimen, ensure optimal performance of its grids.
